Young Children:
1. Jesus performed several miracles through out Mark 7, 8, and 9. Talk to your young child about Jesus healing the man who could not hear of speak.
2. Talk to your child about how Jesus felt about little children. Read aloud the verses: Mark 9:36-37.
3. Let your children know that no one on earth today can perform miracles like Jesus did. We should turn to God for help with all our problems.
Young Men and Women/Adults:
1. Mark 7:6-7 This passage of scriptures is a quote from Isaiah 29:13. Is it possible today that we could honor God with our lips and not our hearts? How?
2. What does Mark 7:15-16 mean?
3. Is it possible for words and actions to come out of a person which they do not mean? read Mark 7:20 - 23 Have you ever said, "Well, I really didn't mean it?"
4. Mark 8:36 One can gain the whole world and loose their own soul.
