Young Children
1. To teach your children the lessons in Luke 19:12-27 give your child an important task to do (for example you might get them to set the table for supper). Encourage them to complete the task. When they are finished, talk about the importance of finishing what we start. Tell them God is pleased when we do what He says.
2. Tell the story of Zacchaeus and then sing the song.
Young Men and Women/Adults:
1. List what the prohets said would happen to Jesus in Luke 18:31-34.
2. Why did Jesus begin to sob when He approached Jerusalem? Read Luke 19:42.
3. Compare the story of the farmer's son that Jesus told in Luke 20:9-19 to the way Jesus was treated as the Son of God.
4. Is it right to pay taxes? What if the taxes are being used for something you believes contradicts the word of God?
