Young Children:
1. Talk to your child about letting his/her light shine. Show with a flashlight in a dark closet how light makes the darkness disappear. Compare that to letting our light shine for Jesus. When other accept Jesus as their savior they are putting out the darkness in their life. "Sing this Little Light of Mine"
2. Talk to your child about why we come together for worship. Both Mom and Dad should discuss this together and then with the children.
3. Talk about the main elements in our worship together.
Young Men and Women/Adults:
1. Was anything made on earth without Jesus?
2. When Jesus clears out the temple in John 2, some of the Jews question what?
3. Why did God send His only son to this earth? see John 3: 17-18
4. God sent Jesus to the earth for a purpose. He did not send Jesus to earth for what reasons? Name them. See John 3:17
5. What does it mean to worship God in spirit and in truth?
