Through the New Testament in a Year

Week 37: I Cor.15-II Cor. 4

Song: "The Gospel is for All"

Young Children:

Explain the Good News to your child in a simple manner. Ask them to repeat it back to you. The Good News can be found in I Cor. 15. In summary:

Christ died for us so that we could have forgiveness of sins.
He was put in His grave.
On the 3rd day, he came alive again.
He then walked on the earth preaching.
He went to Heaven where he is waiting and watching for the day when we will all go before God to be judged according to what we do or don't do on the earth.

Young Men and Women/Adults:

1. Can you tell the Good News to someone? If not, what is stated on the left column under the children's section is a summary that could be easily memorized.

2. Paul tells us to be loving in all we do? What does that mean?

3. What must happen for the believers in the old covenant to convert to Christ?

4. Who raised Jesus from the dead?

For this week:

This week concentrate on making kindness and gentleness a part of everything you do. Can we ever be too kind or gentle?

"Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not want what belongs to others. It does not brag. It is not proud." I Cor. 13:4

When someone does a kindness,
It always seems to me
That's the way God up in heaven
Would like us all to be.
