Young Children:
1. In Acts 5 we read about lying. Be sure your child knows the difference between a lie and the truth. Relate some situations where the person obviously is telling a lie, then ask your child if they know what part is the truth and what is the lie.
2. In Acts 7 there is a review of several Old Testament stories. Do you regularly review Bible lessons with your children? Review is very important. You can use simple Bible coloring books to review lessons with your child.
Young Men and Women/Adults:
1. Is there a difference between lying to men and lying to God?
2. Peter said, "We must obey God instead of people." An example of this is in Acts 5:17 - 32. Instead of staying in prison (obeying people) the apostles were released by an angel and began teaching (obeying God). Can we make application of this in any situations today?
3. Stephen was so bold as to say that Jesus would change the practices that Moses handed down. Is there information in the Old Testament that indicates Moses law would NEVER change? Is there scripture that states it would change? Where is it?
For This Week:
Ask the Lord to help you to your feet when you fall down.
"The wise man's path leads upward to life." Prov. 15:24
