Through the New Testament in a Year

Week 41
Eph. 5:17-Col.1
Song: "Soldiers of Christ Arise"

Young Children:

1. Eph. 6:1 -- "Children obey your parents"!
If we don't teach our children to obey us, when they are adults they may not see why they should obey God as a higher authority.

2. Pray that you will use the right words to teach your child about God. Eph. 6:19-20

3. Among the people of the world we should shine like stars in heaven. Phil. 2:15

Young Men and Women/Adults:

1. In Eph. 5:28-30 How does it say for a man to love and take care of himself? Is a husband to love his wife in the same way that he loves himself?

2. Why put on the armor of God?

3. Life should find all of its meaning in who?

4. How can one think like Christ? Phil. 2:1-11

5. Among the people of the world we should shine like stars in heaven. Phil. 2:15

For this week:

View your problems with a spiritual perspective. See each difficulty as a lesson in problem solving and endurance.

"He drew me up from the desolate pit, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure." Psalms 40:2

Welcome every stumbling block,
And every torn and jagged rock,
For each one is a stepping-stone
To God, who wants you for His own.
